Adam’s path to cinematography began in journalism — after graduating with First Class Honours and gaining his pre-entry qualifications from the National Council for the Training of Journalists, his background in multimedia storytelling naturally fused with a long-standing love of visual imagery.

Adam’s work has been longlisted for the Grierson Awards and officially selected at Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying festivals. His work spans commercial, charity, documentary and narrative filmmaking, bringing together a strong instinct for story with a cinematic approach to image-making. Adam works as an owner-operator with in-house Sony FX9 and Sony FX3 camera packages (see kit list), and is experienced across other camera systems including ARRI and RED cinema cameras.

Career highlights include winning Best Cinematography for the BFI documentary We’ll Go Down in History (2025). The film was also selected for the British Council’s Five Films for Freedom campaign, screening in over ten countries and reaching more than 2.2 million viewers worldwide.

With over 10 years’ experience as a DOP, Adam has built up a large network of talented film industry professionals and can help source crew for many on-set roles, including 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC), 2nd Assistant Camera (2nd AC), Gaffer and Spark, as well as other roles such as Sound Recordist and Production Designer. Based in London and available to travel across the UK and worldwide.
